Installing Bastille Linux from Source

You can download the source code for Bastille from here: Source Tarball

To install from source:

1) Unpack the tarball into the current directory:

tar -xjvf Bastille.tar.bz2

2) Run the Install.sh script:

cd Bastille && ./Install.sh

3) Run the bastille command to harden!

        bastille -x     (for Graphical Mode)
or
        bastille -c     (for Text Mode)
or
        bastille        (if you're not sure)

4) Run the bastille assessment mode to audit the system!

	bastille -a
